Signing back on?

A funny thing happened right after I decided to stop writing this blog; my wife and I found out we were about to adopt a baby boy. We'd been waiting for a while, and as sometimes happens, we got a call out of the blue that there was a baby waiting for us.

I think it was a surprise for him too.

As you might imagine, I didn't think a whole lot about the whole personal finance blogging world for a while, and when I did think about it, I decided that the last thing that I needed was to have a lot of my personal information hanging out on the internet. So I deleted the blog, in its entirety from blogger.com, and got on with the job of changing diapers, and 4:00AM feedings, and not sleeping enough.

But now, as he approaches his first birthday, life has settled back down somewhat, and I find that I miss my old blog.

So I'm back. Of course my old blog is gone. Right after I deleted the blog, some clever "entrepreneur" scarfed up the old address (hedonicadjustment.blogspot.com) and created and ad-laden spamblog. So here we are at a new address, with most of the same great old content, and more to come.
